The ICT/TLE department started off the celebration by getting the students’ interest and attention. During the opening of Nutrition Month, an introduction of activities was given to let the participants know what to expect in this year’s event- such as the Manual and Digital Poster Making Contest, Slogan Making Contest, and the highlight contest of Nutrition Month: the Jingle Making Contest. The department also held a trivia game at the school grounds that made a lot of students get excited for the new experiences and, awaited prizes.

The sections in Junior High School and Senior High School enthusiastically joined the Jingle Making Contest with their colorful costumes, and catchy song lyrics. The panel of judges and the entire audience were in awe of the originality that each class gave. At the end of the NutriJingle competition, 9-Beqcuerel stood out from the rest of the sections and was declared as champion.

Although Makati Science High School only focused on the Nutrition Month Celebration for a week, it is sure that the entire student body will always put into their minds of how important it is to be physically and mentally healthy. This year’s celebration also shows that the students in Makati Science High School can also battle with their creativity in group performances and in arts.
